CHI Turbo Flat Iron

Posted by: michelleeileen on: June 28, 2008

A lot of people ask me the the difference between the CHI Ceramic Flat Iron and the Chi Turbo Ceramic Flat Iron.

The obvious difference between these two products is their color.  The CHI Turbo Flat Iron is red in color and the standard ceramic iron is black.  They both heat up to similar temperatures, but the Turbo is designed to heat up twice as fast.  If you are a professional stylist the standard edition will be just fine.  If you wake up late in the morning and are in a rush to get the work opt for the Turbo.

Both are fantastic products made by a company that has literally sold millions of units worldwide.  If you are looking for a flat iron make it a CHI.

I work at a lot of beauty suppy stores and I have both of the CHI irons. The only difference is that the Turbo has heat settings unlike the regular CHI. I’ve used the CHI for about 6 years and my hair is very damaged because I don’t have the option of lowering the heat on my iron. So if you get one, get one with multiple heat settings.
